Sturmgrenadier - Online Gaming Syndicate

Sturmgrenadier Planetside features customized ribbons/awards for SG Planetside members. The ribbons/awards will apply to in and out of game achievements, as well as various special events.

By order of Sturmgrenadier Syndicate Command, the award of the following ribbons is hereby authorized:

The Beta Ribbon
For those members who were actively on the roster prior to May 20th, 2003, and were also a member of the Sturmgrenadier Planetside Beta Outfit.

Charter PS Portal Member Badge
Awarded to those Sturmgrenadier Planetside members who were actively on the roster prior to June 20th, 2003.

Combat Action Ribbon
Members who have served in such a capacity as to have attained 10000 points for their unit, can be designated as having served in repeated ground or surface combat fire fights or actions during which he was under enemy fire and performance while under fire was satisfactory.

Achievement Ribbon
The award shall be given for achievement in a combat or non combat situation based on sustained performance or specific achievement of a superlative nature, and shall be of such merit as to warrant more tangible recognition than is possible by promotion, but which does not warrant a Meritorious Achievment Ribbon or higher

Meritorious Achievement
The award shall be given for meritorious service or achievement in a combat situation based on sustained performance or specific achievement of a superlative nature, and shall be of such merit as to warrant more tangible recognition than is possible by an Achievement Ribbon, but which does not warrant a Commendation Ribbon or higher. The emphasis on this ribbon is combat related performance or service. Multiple minor acts of achievement in combat, or single acts of merit or meritorious service in connection with military operations may justify this award.

Commendation Ribbon
The award shall be given for acts or services performed in combat or non combat, accomplished or performed in a manner above that normally expected and sufficient to distinguish the individual above those performing similar services. An accumulation of minor acts of merit or achievement does not justify the award.

Valor Ribbon
This award shall be given for accomplishment or performance of duty above that normally expected, and sufficient to distinguish the individual among those performing comparable duties, Although less than the requirements for the Heroism ribbon or Medal of Honor ribbon.

Heroism Ribbon
To warrant this distinctive award, the act or the execution of duty must be performed in the presence of great danger or at great personal risk and must be performed in such a manner as to set the individual apart from his fellow members. An accumulation of minor acts of heroism does not justify the award. The high standards demanded must be borne in mind when recommending the award.

Command Rank 5 Ribbon
The award shall be given to members for successfully attaining Command Rank 5 in game.

Medal of Honor Ribbon
The award shall be given to members who distinguish themselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. The individual's service must clearly be rendered conspicuous above their comrades by an act so outstanding that it clearly distinguishes their gallantry beyond the call of duty from lesser forms of bravery; and it must be the type of deed which if not done would not subject the individual to any justified criticism. The deed must be without detriment to the mission of the command or to the squad to which attached.

Reinforced Icon
Awarded for exceptional gameplay as a ground pounder.

MAX Icon
Awarded for exceptional gameplay as a MAX unit.

Armor Icon
Awarded for exceptional gameplay as one of the listed units.

Air Icon (Reaver, Mosquito, Liberator)
Awarded for exceptional game play as one of the listed units.

Transport Icon (Galaxy, Lodestar, Sunderer)
Awarded for exceptional game play as one of the listed units.

Support Icon (AMS, ANT)
Awarded for exceptional game play as one of the listed units.

Combat Engineer Icon
Awarded for exceptional game play as a Combat Engineer.

Engineer Icon
Awarded for exceptional game play as an Engineer.

Medic Icon (Standard and Advanced Medics)
Awarded for exceptional game play as one of the listed units.

Spec Ops Icon (Infiltrators, Snipers)
Awarded for exceptional game play as one of the listed units.
